Acupuncture, a branch of Oriental Medicine, is a comprehensive health system, integrating
many therapies, and is used by its practitioners to treat illnesses. Some additional therapies
include diet, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, as well as Tai Qi and Qi Gong (physical exercise), and Tuina (manual therapies).
Acupuncture along with these other therapies has become very popular in United States.
Michael Goopta is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of North Carolina. He is a Diplomate in Acupuncture
certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
